So... Here I am again. It's been awhile. Allow me the opportunity to explain my absence!

I've moved recently... My last house was, to say the very least, detrimental to my mental health. Now that I've come to a more stately and calm environment, I find the artistic urges welling up inside of me! (No, not that kind.)

It feels like it's been a waning process between here, there, and back again.
I've been drawing, but nothing I really think should be on here.

There are some things I do think could work but are still incomplete.
My schedule has become surprisingly busy for what I'm used to. *_*

As a side-note, I've thought a lot, and I mean A LOT about my story that so
many of my OC's are a part of. Gyaaah, so many plot holes filled in, it's
amazing what a week long roadtrip and some downtime on an MP3 player can do. X3

The only other art-related thing in life for me right now is I decided I should
try as much as I can to pursue my passions in art and try and take art in the
Art Institute in Portland, only a yay away from where I live now.
Considering my current "situation" denotes financial aid coverage, it's feasible,
I just have to take care of their entrance exam and figure things out from there.
I'm excited to see what comes of it.

I can't believe it but, I've fallen head long into the whimsical world of CURTAIN FIRE games.
To be precise, the Touhou Project series created by the drunken master himself, ZUN.

I don't know how or why, it just kinda... Happened. O_o
The older games are neat, but I love the newer ones. I still can't beat Embodiment of Scarlet Devil,
however. Damn, I suck. Normal man, freaking normal! WHY MUST YOU SHOOT ME WITH SO MANY BULLETS!?!

I think aside from an actual challenge, the music is really what pulled me in...

And so, the holidays are whizzing by, like I could swear Thanksgiving was a few days ago, strange.
I've been having a pretty decent time, though for awhile I was neglecting drawing... I felt so bad.
So! I decided I'd try to get back into it! Success? Perhaps. It seems like my abilities are failing
me, so I'm trying to refresh my memory a little bit. Damn, I can't believe I let that happen. I feel
all rusty and stuff. But... Then again, with so many people on here going on big art breaks, slumps,
and art sepuku you know, I guess if I'm still doing it I can't be doing so bad. ;A;

Hm... So it's December now, Christmas right around the bend. Man, it feels strange, but really nice
at the same time. I got a really big visa reloadable card as a gift card, so I went kinda nuts.

I can't believe it though, I'm finally getting a digital tablet, I'm really excited!
It could potentially come in tomorrow, or somewhere in the near future. OwO!

I'm also tempted to get a small subscription here, just to try it out on here for once, just once...

To be honest, I wanted to be able to get my family a few things too, but at this point I'm not sure if I could afford to give everyone a gift. .__.

Oh well, I think I've blabbed on long enough, but hey, I'm really gonna get into the swing of things soon, oh yes.
For what I can't accomplish in traditional, I shall transcend into digital! And for what I cannot in that, I shall revert.
I shall continue my climb in ability through experimentation and devotion! Thank you very much! (o)/

Hello people of dA, how's it been?

I... Have to apologize for my lack of inactivity, I have to be honest with you guys, I've been kinda busy.

But alternatively, not by much. I suppose it can't be helped, a good chunk of my "free-time" seems to range
within the first digits of AM for me here. But hey, I'm drawing now! I might not be drawing one-shotters like
I tend to, but hey... We all have to improve on something, right? I also decided to not make my other concept
art for Agents_Of_Insanity so quick and mediocre. I mean, well, not being all that talented yet it's hard to
manage, but I'm trying. My first concept art, will likely be straight into the scrap-heap because of how meh
it looks. I did all of it pretty quick. My first thought was... Concept art? Speed sketching! But now I feel
unsatisfied.

Speaking of a lack of preferable satisfaction, I've been showing my sketch-book around in real life and...
Damn. I've been getting a lot of reeeeeally negative feedback for it all. Which is kinda funny, considering
when I asked them why they gave some pretty illegitimate reasons.

"That's not what feet look like!"

"You know, it's called a six-pack for a reason..."

Well, that would be all fine and dandy if I were actually drawing human beings! Most of the critters I draw
are of a different species, either by planet or dimension, and I figure there should be some distinct non-human
attributes. I can understand if it's something like:

"The lighting isn't consistent"

or

"There should be more/less wrinkling on the clothes"

Because a lot of the time it's true, lol. I'm just hoping one day when I get some more negative, non-constructive
criticism that they might know what's really wrong. Woo. o/
